2025 "True North" Vacation Bible School

It’s hard to find your way in a world gone wild. But we have Jesus—our true north! At True North VBS we’ll give kids a rock-solid foundation and point them to Jesus, their unmovable, unshakable friend forever! Campers will also hear from the Alpha Omega Institute (Mon, Tues) as they speak on creation, dinosaurs, fossils, and Noah’s ark, the LCC K-9 Comfort Dog ministry (Wed) for hands on interaction with the dogs and handlers, and FDL Fire Rescue (Thurs) for a firefighter meet and greet and fire engine tour.

We are very happy to offer our VBS free of charge.

Schedule

Schedule Our program runs June 23-26 from 4:30-7:00 PM, but children are encouraged to begin checking-in at 4:15 PM.

What should my child wear?

Appropriate and modest shorts with comfortable sturdy shoes are recommended every day so your children can freely run and play. Our crafts are awesome, fun, and potentially messy! Please make sure your children wear play clothes that can get dirty. They can also wear their VBS shirt each day. We strongly recommend that you apply sunscreen before coming to provide protection from the sun.

Allergies

Please make sure to include all allergy and special medical information when you register. We will alert your child’s leader, so they are able to give proper care. You are also invited to speak with your child’s leader about your child’s specific needs.

Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures

We ask that each day, you park and check in your registered child at our church building. Please sign your child in at the information table inside. From there, you will be directed to your child’s leader.

Children will be picked up inside the church building at our closing assembly.

Please let the information table staff know if you need to pick up your child early. When picking up early, go directly to the information table and they will assist you in locating your child.

Each day concludes with Compass Closing that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this special time at 6:50 PM.

Food

We provide a fun meal for every child each day. Please do not send food with your child. Water bottles are permitted.
